Mize Wire Polyolefin Dual Wall Heat Shrink Tubing uses crosslinked polyolefin with an internal meltable sealant. When heated above 120°C the tubing will shrink to approximately 33% of its original diameter. As it shrinks the internal sealant melts and provides a moisture-proof seal for wires, splices, breakouts and components. This tubing is especially of value for applications needing a moisture barrier in high humidity and corrosive environments.
